Homeschool Splash
Aquatics Programs offered to fit the homeschoolers’ scheduling needs. Programs include Swim Lessons and Swim Team Conditioning.
*Note: If student is not a YMCA member, when registering, create an account and choose Program Participant as membership type.
Preschool Swim Lessons
The American Red Cross Swim Lesson Curriculum is offered for ages 3-5 for beginner and advanced beginner levels. No diving skills are taught at the North Mobile Branch due to water depth of 3’6″. Classes meet once per week on Tuesdays for six weeks, forty five minute classes.
There will be NO CLASS on Tuesday, October 31st.

Swim Team Conditioning
For swimmers, ages 7-14. This program focuses on swimming drills and distance work that improves the swimmer’s endurance, stroke technique, and speed. Swimmers are required to wear goggles, swim team style suites, and must be able to swim 25 yards freestyle and backstroke without assistance. No diving skills are practiced due to water depth of 3’.6”. Program meets once per week on Tuesdays for six weeks, sixty minutes and includes dry land work.
